Specialized Extreme House Cleaning

If you are on Vancouver Island and you need assistance with an "extreme cleaning" situation, We can help!

No job is too big, small or intimidating for us. No matter what's going on, we're ready to respond quickly, roll up our sleeves and get to work with you to tackle the problem.

We understand that there are any number of things that can contribute towards a housecleaning crisis... The most commonly cited contributing factors can range from any number of issues - like physical health problems and disability, the death of a loved one, PTSD, loss of employment, clinical depression, substance abuse issues, family disruption etc... It's important to recognize however, that *you* are not your house. From what we understand about "hoarding" behavior, most often, people with this problem have been desperately trying to get a sense of control over their lives after being traumatized, and for a time being, the aquisition/collecting/shopping/yard-sale and thrift-shopping feels empowering. But over time, this coping strategy goes into over-drive and becomes maladaptive. Having tried so hard to gain a sense of control by hoarding, they discover after a time that they no longer are in control of their behavior. They realize (to some extent) that the house/hoard and the clutter own them.

We understand that it's almost impossibly hard to feel good and be comfortable and happy when you and your loved ones are surrounded by chaos and mess. You might have a messy home right now, and feel completely at a loss as to where to even begin the process of getting things back under control...Maybe you never even learned the skills to keep your house organized, clean and tidy to begin with... It doesn't matter. Whatever the reason that things have reached this point, You can turn things around, and we can help and indeed, we want to help. We are willing to work with you, regardless of your circumstances and situation - in a way that respects your dignity and worth as a person.

My husband and I run our cleaning company with the awareness that sometimes people simply find themselves overwhelmed when confronting a housecleaning crisis and they need help to tackle it. We understand that sometimes it's hard to reach out for help, or to be able to take action when things seem hopeless. When things have gone on for a very long time, when you feel isolated, when it seems like you can't even come up with an idea on where to even begin to clean...

It's ok. You don't have to face this problem alone - That's our guarantee. We will work with you on developing an action plan and strategies for dealing with more than just a single-extreme clean. We will help you explore options and resources within the community to come up with positive solutions and move beyond the mess.

Once the Big-Deep Clean has been completed we will also be available to keep coming back on a regular basis, at your pace, to help you stay on top of things. We suggest that this is a good idea - simply because a behavior pattern that has taken years to develop will take some time to re-learn and un-do as you adjust to new coping strategies and learning different ways of organizing and maintaining your house.

We work primarily out of Victoria, British Columbia, but we are willing to travel beyond Vancouver Island if required.
